Embassy Row

A drive down the Embassy Row reminds me of the movies made in Black and White. The entire experience was outstanding. As the name suggests, it is a series of embassies and each embassy has a story to tell. The entire drive through the Embassy row takes at the most 10 minutes. Historically, these embassies were built for rich royals in the 19th century. All are embassies are represented by the national flag of the country. Like the Indian embassy is represented by Indian tri color flag along with the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, an Indian freedom fighter.
Admiration for Lord Winston Churchill comes naturally as you cross the British Embassy. This is the glorious mix of different cultures in the Embassy Row. The Embassy row is surrounded by greenery and a beautiful neighbourhood. Needless to say, owing to the high security in the area one needs to be dressed properly and behave in an appropriate way. One can spend few hours roaming close to the Embassy row, admiring the amazing row of buildings. The best part about this trip is that it is absolutely free. So, if you are looking for a unique architecture experience then your search ends here.
