Arlington Cemetery
Arlington Cemetery was established after the civil war to bury the large quantity of casualties from the North and South. The land was formerly owned by Robert E. Lee, the famous Civil War general for the South. Many come here to see JFK’s Eternal Flame and the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It is not known how many people are buried here, as the tombs of the unknowns from various wars make the number unknowable.

Speechless. After visiting Washington DC, American History is closer to my heart. Its a privilege to live here in the United States of America.
I also really enjoy coming to the Arlington National Cemetery. It’s one of the most beautiful places in DC (well, actually in Arlington).
