Ford’s Theater
A symbol of inspiration, dedication and philanthropy, Abraham Lincoln has enlightened many lives and the whole of America during his administration period as America’s 16th President. In memory of his greatness and his ruthless assassination on April 14, 1865, the Ford’s Theatre at DC was reopened in 1968 and is drawing millions of visitors every year since then. This unique building of fantastic historic importance is filled with air of liberalization echoing the tales of this iconic figure of America.
The theatre is dedicated to take its visitors to a world of greatest experiences and America’s journey in theatre and education. While here, don’t miss out the Ford Theatre Society’s incredible historic plays and cultural pieces of performances which are preordained to converse the legacy of Abraham Lincoln and his values of leadership, humanity and wisdom. Many plays have been played on the stage of this wonderful tourist attraction making an emote background and stirring emotions among the visitors watching the fateful evening of Lincoln’s assassination and many such historic episodes.

Ford’s Theatre National Historic Site is open for tours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for visits. The final entry is at 4 p.m.
The Petersen House is open 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
