Dan’s Cafe is super cheap with no beer on tap, but you can get buckets of ice and mix your own drinks, which seems to be the norm.  Dan’s Cafe is a hole-in-the-wall among trendy bars, which attracts fun-loving clientele.  There’s a pool table inside, but I’ve only seen it covered with drinks on it.  Perhaps during slower times they uncover and use it, but due to the heavy consumption of alcohol there I would guess that it is saturated with liquor.  Being located in Adam’s Morgan, you should be a bit careful on your walk home as there have been multiple reports in the past of people getting into fights in the lower sections of Adam’s Morgan.
